Love to garden, but don't have the space? Or perhaps you want more room to grow? The Burlington Pea Patch community garden program might be able to help.

Garden by the Skagit River
The Burlington Pea Patch community garden is open to those who have reserved garden space in advance.
  • Interested gardeners can find more information about the Pea Patch program - and how to apply - within the Application and Guidelines form.
  • The pea patch opens seasonally April through October.

Located near Skagit River Park's southern-most entrance off Whitmarsh Road, proximity to the Skagit River offers soil that many gardeners find ideal for growing annual vegetables and flowers. Pesticides and perennials are prohibited.

Partners at the Pea Patch
The Burlington-Edison High School welding class with Mr Raupp, Jim Sanders of Skagit River Steel and the Burlington Parks & Recreation Department partnered in 2017 to create a lasting Pea Patch Garden sign for many years to come.
