[ARCHIVED] IRS Update

We should receive copies of the 1040, 1040A, and 1040EZ forms and instructions soon; in the mean time you may go to IRS.GOV to view or print forms and instructions.

Free tax preparation assistance is now available at these local sites. The AARP foundation provides in-person help from IRS-certified volunteers for anyone of any age - especially if you are 50 years or older, or have low to moderate income. Here's the info you will need to bring:
  • Photo ID for taxpayer and spouse
  • Social Security cards (or ITINs) for yourself, spouse, and all dependents
  • Copy of last year's tax return
  • Supporting documents for income and deductions, including health insurance (form 1095)
The following assistance is out of the scope of this free tax assistance:
  • Business losses
  • Depreciation
  • Married, filing separately
