WHAT THE HECK IS COMMON CORE!?!

Are you struggling to help your student with their homework? Are you concerned about Common Core learning? WE CAN HELP! Attend a free, hands on workshop at Burlington Public Library led by a certified teacher from the Equity in Education Coalition. This workshop will: • Provide a deeper understanding of the Common Core State Standards- What are they? Where did they come from? • Explore the six shifts in teaching • Provide opportunities to practice CCSS skills • Gain familiarity with CCSS vocabulary • Break some of the myths about CCSS • Questions answered as they come by a live instructor. This FREE training will be held from 6-8 pm on Thursday, March 24th. Snacks will be provided and seating is limited.
