Picnic Shelter Reservations are Now Online
Reserve Space this Summer in a Local Park

Looking for a place to host an outdoor event this summer? Why not reserve a picnic shelter at one of our Burlington Parks? Shelter reservations can now be made online. 

To reserve a picnic shelter, please visit our online catalog, click on the Facility Rentals tab, and browse available shelters at Maiben Park, Rotary Park or Whitmarsh Horseshoe Pits located at Skagit River Park. 
 


Co-Ed Junior Sand Volleyball League
Registration is Open: League Play Begins on June 21


Sign up today for our NEW Co-Ed Junior Sand Volleyball League this summer! This league is open to kids in 7th to 12th grade (ages 13-19). The six-week season begins June 21 with games on Tuesday nights from 6-9pm at the Rotary Park Sand Volleyball Courts in Burlington.

Registration is open now through June 12. Form your team and 
register today. 

 


Referee Training at Skagit River Park
Saturday, June 11 from 10:30am to 2pm 

Know a friend or student in Skagit Valley who loves soccer? Send them here! A successful soccer season each year requires having enough referees for our games each weekend during the season. 

Registration for the clinic must be done online at www.wareferees.org. There is an online pre-training clinic that must be completed by June 9 in order to attend the Referee Training and Clinic at Skagit River Park. 



Call to Artists: Exterior Wall Mural Project
Design Ideas Being Accepted through June 7 at 5pm


The City of Burlington, in cooperation with a property owner in the historic Fairhaven District of the City, is interested in commissioning an exterior wall mural. The mural may be as large as 14' x 64' and the theme would be centered around "Ballet Folklorico" and the area's Berry Harvest. Interested artists should submit their qualifications and portfolio examples, together with their fee structure and installation timeline via email to: gregy@burlingtonwa.gov by June 7, 2022 at 5pm.
