The Parks Foundation offers scholarships for classes or camps where registration is conducted directly through the Burlington Parks and Recreation Department. The Foundation's scholarship funds do not extend to programs offered by outside organizations that contract with Burlington Parks and Recreation for use of its facilities. Examples include the British Challenger, Mini-Kickers and Skyhawks programs.

Find Out How You Can Help!

While Burlington Parks and Recreation is committed to offering affordable, quality programs for all members of our community, their cost is out of reach for some families.  The Burlington Parks Foundation strives to fill that need with their Scholarship Program, but the need is great and scholarship funds are limited.
The Foundation relies on the generosity of our community for its scholarship support and there are two easy ways you can help!
  1. Enroll in Fred Meyer's Community Reward Program.  At the end of each quarter, Fred Meyer will make a donation to the Foundation based on the accumulated spending of those enrolled.  Easy! The key is to link your Reward membership to the Burlington Parks Foundation.  Follow the steps listed on the form at this link.
  2. Or, simply make a direct donation to the Burlington Parks Foundation.  Any amount helps! Checks should be made payable to the Burlington Parks Foundation and mailed to 18155 Joy Place, Burlington WA  98233.  Please include a note so that the Foundation will know to reserve your donation specifically for the Recreation Program Scholarship Fund.
