Christmas at the Station: Annual Tree Lighting

The Burlington Chamber of Commerce invites you to join in for Christmas at the Station. This annual tree lighting event is back in full swing with cookies and cocoa, kids' activities, and the return of Mr. and Mrs. Claus. The event takes place in Downtown Burlington on Thursday, December 1 from 6-8pm.

Winter Wonderland at the Children's Museum

A Whole Weekend of FUN! December 2-4

Are you ready for some winter fun?! The Children's Museum of Skagit County and the City of Burlington are gearing up for Winter Wonderland. This event is entirely FREE to the public. Taking place at the Children's Museum of Skagit County here in Burlington, there will be indoor and outdoor fun for kids, families, teens and adults. Looking for Santa Claus and his reindeer? You'll find them here (Disclaimer: Reindeer may or may not fly at the event). Join in the fun at the following times: 

Friday, December 2: 12pm to 4pm
Saturday, December 3: 10am to 4pm
Sunday, December 4: 10am to 4pm

DSLR Photography Classes

Winter photography is beautiful... Snowy mountain peaks, freshly flocked evergreens, and those frosty morning walks on your favorite trail. The skills you'll pick up in our upcoming Photography Classes with Andy Porter will help you sharpen the use of your DSLR. We've got Beginner and Intermediate Classes offered in December. Sign up below and give yourself the gift of photography just in time for the cold weather. We're offering the following classes:

2 Hour DSLR Intermediate Class
Saturday, December 3 from 10am-12pm 

2 Hour DSLR Beginner Class
Tuesday, December 6 from 6-8pm

B-E 5th/6th Grade Girl's Winter Basketball
Registration Opens Soon!
 

The City of Burlington Parks and Recreation Department is now running the B-E Girl's Winter Basketball League for girls in Grades 5 and 6 in the B-E School District. 

Please spread the word to any girls who might like to join in the fun. No experience necessary. Recreational youth sports are a great way for kids to learn new skills and get to be a part of a team. Registration opens soon!
