B-E 5th/6th Grade Boy's Winter Basketball
Registration Open! League Play Begins October 24.
The City of Burlington Parks and Recreation Department is now running the B-E Boy's Winter Basketball League for all boys in Grades 5 and 6 in the Burlington-Edison School District. Check out the details here: English / Spanish
Recreational youth sports are a great opportunity for kids to learn a new skill, practice hand-eye coordination and get to be a part of a team. Practices begin the week of October 24. This league will play a six-game season, with games played on Wednesday nights at various schools throughout the district. Register online today and we'll see you on the court!
Kids Giant Garage Sale

This is the sale where kids make and take the cash! Looking to sell a few gently-used items from your home in garage-sale fashion? Why not let your kids host their own sale? Join us on November 5 from 9am to 12pm at the Burlington Community Center for our Kids Giant Garage Sale. Kid vendors can reserve a booth for $20 and host their very own sale that is open to the public.
Skagit County Veterans Day Parade
Veterans Day Parade is Saturday, Nov. 12 at 11am
We are currently accepting Parade Entries for the 2022 Skagit County Veterans Day Parade. The parade will be held on Saturday, November 12 at 11am in downtown Burlington. Groups, clubs, individual community members and organizations are welcome to join in the Veterans Day Parade. Parade Entry Applications are now being accepted through the City of Burlington Parks and Recreation Department.
Burlington Healthy Community Coalition
Gently Used Adult/Teen Size Backpacks Needed
The Burlington Library and Burlington Parks and Recreation Department are working with B-EHS and the Burlington Healthy Community Coalition to collect gently used and new adult/teen size backpacks and gym drawstring bags for students in need at B-E High School.
The B-E Community Closet at the high school is in need of restocking backpacks. Please drop off backpacks at the Burlington Library or the Parks and Rec Office from now through the end of October.
