Events, Programs and Activities in Burlington
We're gearing up for summer and programs are beginning to open up! Check out our online catalog to register for something fun to do and connect with the community. Brush up on your photography skills at our Beginner and Intermediate DSLR Classes, register for an up-coming event like the Junior Skate Date with Mom, or help your kids anticipate summertime by signing up for our Skyhawks and Challenger Youth Sports Camps. Find something that suits you and go for it! You can register online, call the Parks and Recreation Office, or come by in person. If you decide to come by, be sure to pick up your FREE Burlington Parks and Rec Sticker. They're pretty cool and we've got plenty to share!
Kiwanis Egg Hunts in the Parks
Two FREE Events on Saturday, April 16
Kiwanis Egg Hunts are back this year on Saturday, April 16. The Kids' Egg Hunt will take place at Maiben Park on Saturday, April 16 at 10am. This FREE Egg Hunt starts right at 10am with the 0-3 age group going first, then immediately followed by ages 4-5 and 6-8.
The Teen Flashlight Egg Hunt will take place at the Dike District Playfields the same evening, on April 16 at 8:30pm. Meet-up will be at the Whitmarsh Picnic Shelter at 1720 E. Whitmarsh Road in Burlington. This event is also FREE and geared toward ages 14-18. Tell a teen in your life about the event so that they can join in the fun (Be sure to bring your own flashlight!).
Junior Skate Date with Mom!
Sunday, May 1 at 5:30pm to 7:30pm
Burlington Parks and Rec is partnering with Skagit Skate to host our very first
Junior Skate Date with Mom! This is a new event just for Moms and Sons. Join us for a night of skating and enjoy raffles every half hour, glow sticks, sweet treats and more. There'll be a grand prize raffle just for Moms, too. Tickets are $12.50 per person, advanced registration ONLY.
