Recreation programs return to Burlington June 2021

Recreation programs return to Burlington June 2021.
Recreation offerings include, but are not limited to:
• Challenger Soccer Camps and Skyhawks Sports Camps
• Tree Climbing Camps and Nature Immersion Camps
• Burlington-Edison Youth Soccer fall program
• Thursday Walking program
• City Scavenger Hunts
• Yard of the Month Contests
• Outdoor Book Club
• Virtual Classes
Registration for recreation programs opens May 5, Wednesday.

Online or phone registration will be available. Programs are open to participants beyond the Burlington area. For more details on specific programs offered, view the online Recreation Program Catalog.

The city’s recreation division returned to work March 2021 after a nine-month furlough. The office remains closed to in-person visits, with staff responding to calls and emails 8 AM – 5 PM, Monday through Friday. Welcome back, Burlington recreation!

Parks maintenance staff has continued their work mostly uninterrupted since last March. And still, positive changes are in the works—read on for a list of what’s happening in terms of increased services in our city parks and our recreation programming.
