Members
The historic preservation commission consists of nine members which include four representatives of Burlington's recreation service area (B-ESD boundaries), two at-large representatives who have expressed interest in preserving Burlington's history, and two historic resource professionals who have demonstrated experience in identifying, evaluating, and protecting historic resources. All members shall be appointed by the mayor with the approval of city council for a term of three years, with the exception of the Burlington city council representative, which will change annually. The Community Development director shall serve as an ex officio, non-voting member.
