Teen Murder Mystery Party
Monday, December 29, 2 - 4 p.m.

There's crime afoot! Someone has been murdered and we need your
help to untangle the mystery. Join us as we piece together the puzzle.

Watch the twisting emotional roller coaster of a book turned into a movie.

Harry Potter Yule Ball
Monday, January 26, 3 - 5 p.m.
Enter the world of Harry Potter dressed as your favorite witch or wizard,
in dress robes or every day attire, or just come as yourself. Costume contest,
short ballroom dance lesson, wand-making, and much more.

Burlington Teen READS Kickoff Event
Tuesday, February 10, 3 - 5 p.m.
This is the second year of Burlington Teen READS, where all Burlington teens
are encouraged to read one book.

This year the book is Hold Me Closer, Necromancer by Lish McBride.
Come to the movie matinee kick-off to watch The Sixth Sense
(the main character in the movie, Sam, sees dead people too). Create some
 not-afraid-of-the-dark bling like an LED bracelet or bling out your binder with
LEDs. All this plus some super spooky treats.

Super chill book discussion of Hold Me Closer, Necromancer by Lish McBride. Eat some pizza and decide which characters are evil and should fall off the face of the Earth, and which ones are dreamy/hot/in some way worthy and should probably take you out to coffee.

Sequel and thrilling conclusion to super chill book discussion of Hold Me Closer, Necromancer by Lish McBride. This time with even more pizza.



 
Poetry Reading and Writer's Workshop
Monday, March 23, 3 - 5 p.m.  
Poet Laureate Elizabeth Austen will perform a poetry reading followed by a writer’s workshop.  Come and be inspired and create your own work of art!

Volunteer @ your library
Burlington Public Library's Teen Advisory Group is a voice for teens in the library, 
helping to create a place where teens are welcomed and involved. 
Members plan and promote teen events, help choose teen library materials, 
earn PAWS credit, and eat pizza.
