Records Unit
Responsibilities
The Burlington Police Records Unit is under the supervision of the administrative assistant.

Records personnel:
  • Process and retain police records pursuant to Washington state retention schedules.
  • Distribute police reports allowed by law.
  • Prepare and disseminate Burlington police public records requests.
  • Conduct background investigation checks for concealed pistol permits and firearm transfers.
  • Assist with customer service requests.
