Registered Sex Offenders
Law enforcement has no legal authority to direct where any offender may or may not live. Unless court ordered restrictions exist, these offenders are constitutionally free to live wherever they choose. The public must realize that as law enforcement has no authority to direct where a sex offender lives there are transient sex offenders that may be in the community and unknown to law enforcement.
