Burlington L.I.D. Demonstration ProjectBurlington L.I.D. Demonstration Project
This project provided parking made from pervious concrete at this site of the old fire hall. The pervious concrete allows stormwater to flow right through and enter the ground, reducing runoff and pollution. The site also includes two rain gardens that provide treatment and infiltration for the stormwater from the adjacent street.

The project cost $165,000, with $139,000 funded by the Washington State Department of Ecology.
