Give it a Name!

The old building located at 219 S. Skagit Street is getting a face lift. The Leadership Skagit team, "World Hues" has adopted the building as its project. The tired old space will be rejuvenated thanks to World Hues and a few generous friends such as the Rotary Club of Burlington, the Boys & Girls Club of Skagit, Shell's Puget Sound Refinery, Kendall Gentry and a number of enthusiastic volunteers.

While the old building has carried several nicknames over the years, it has yet to receive an official name.  It has been dubbed the old Camp Fire Lodge, the Blue Bird building and, at times, simply "the house at 219 S. Skagit".

The renovated building will be a home port for the Boys & Girls Club's Summer Breeze program in Burlington which begins in June and it will also be available as a meeting space later in the year.

We welcome suggestions from the community! Please let us hear from you with your name suggestion no later than 4:00PM Friday, April 28.  All entries will be received by Burlington's Parks and Recreation Advisory Board before being forwarded to City Council for selection.
