Get a Library Card

While the Burlington Public Library is closed due to the Coronavirus public health crisis, the library has found a way to get new library cards to patrons! Fill out the appropriate library card application form below to get started.

If you are a Burlington resident, B-ESD teacher or student, Burlington business or property owner, a reciprocal Skagit County library card holder, or even a non-resident (with the payment of the yearly fee) we have a card for you!

Library cards are now available for all students living in the Burlington-Edison School District through a new pilot program. Please use one of the two BE Student links below to register for a BE Student library card.

Use one of the two Library Card Application forms below for Non-Students

To update your current Burlington Public Library card please call or email the library. 360-755-0760 or blibrary@burlingtonwa.gov.

Patrons who do not qualify for a free Burlington Public Library card and do not wish to pay the fee may still apply for a Digital Library card, or check out books from our STAR Reader collection by completing a brief form. The collection consists of adult, teen, and children’s books (from board books for babies to chapter books for older readers) which have been donated to the library. The Burlington Public Library wants to make sure everyone develops a lifelong love of reading, regardless of whether or not they live within city limits.

Kid STAR Bundle: No form necessary!  Give the library a call when you arrive and let us know what age, language, and how many books you need! We will bring them out to you!
