2019 Kids Summer Reading

2019Childrens_Spot_G
A Universe of Stories

Here's How it Works:

  • Sign up online or at the library.
  • Download a printable reading log or pick one up at the library.
  • Color in a box for every 20 minutes you read.
  • Earn one raffle ticket entry for the Grand Prize Drawing for every 60 minutes you read (3 numbered boxes).
  • Read 400 minutes and bring your reading log to the library to claim a half-way prize. Prizes available July 15-September 3 (or while supplies last).
  • Keep reading and get all your raffle tickets turned in by August 10 to be entered into the Grand Prize Drawing.

Grand Prize
Two readers will each win a Birthday Party at the Burlington Fire Station. BFD will "host" the party in the fire station community room and give a behind the scenes tour. (Parents provide decorations and treats). Drawing will take place at Touch a Truck event on August 17.

EVERY CHILD QUALIFIES FOR A FREE STAR READER CARD.
Ask library staff how you can sign up.

Show the reading log to a SKAT driver for a free ride to any Skagit library during the summer - includes one guardian - through August 31.
